Frequently Asked Questions
Ideally you have basic handyperson skills but most importantly a willingness to learn. Artificial grass installation follows a structured plan, as long as you follow the steps in our franchise manual and as shown in our hands on training you should achieve professional results from day one.
Once your application is approved, it can take 6-8 weeks for all the equipment to be available. That gives you plenty of time to start marketing and growing leads in your local franchise area.
The franchise costs are included in the $49,990 fee, while depending on which starter pack you choose (Essential or Commercial), all the equipment required can be purchased outright or leased (from only $100/week). Terms & conditions apply. There is a cost for the two week training course and some legal costs to setup the franchise. You also receive accessories and marketing material.
Every business is different, and your return will be dependent on your own effort. To help understand what income you may achieve we have developed an income forecast model that lets you enter how much artificial grass you want to install in a week, and it then estimates your income, based on real sales data taken from our own franchise here on the Sunshine Coast. To receive this spreadsheet, simply sign and return by email our NDA and we will email this revenue forecast tool directly to your email.
Every franchisee is responsible for managing their own business. Based on how we run our franchise, we would expect you to be working on client sites for 2-3 days every week, with the remaining time spent doing site measures and general marketing in your specific region.
This is the most important question you can ask. KomboGrass™ is a market leader, the founding director is an engineer who has designed and developed an exclusive range of no-infill artificial grass specifically for the Australian conditions. Pioneering this path back in 2013 when all the competitors laughed at our approach, it is quite ironic nearly 10 years later to see our competitors now trying to offer no-infill grass, though paradoxically using latex or rubber backed synthetic grasses!
A franchise is, however, a turn-key system that lets you hit the ground running and that is what KomboGrass™ offers. We have simplified all the procedures needed to market, quote, install and support our artificial grass range making it easy to replicate our systems in your franchised area. Our documented procedures make sure you don’t make the same mistakes we have learned from, while our online systems have been customised over the years to provide the perfect tools to support your business from day one.
If you are seriously looking for a way to gain financial independence, set and work your own hours, have a real work life balance and be your own boss this is the opportunity you have been looking for.
